Overview of PhD program
The Department offers a PhD with a coursework component. The program requires students to undertake a maximum of one year of coursework and two years of full time research. Students will be confirmed as PhD candidates at the end of the first year on the basis of satisfactory completion of the coursework component and a successful presentation of a thesis proposal. Students may conduct their research in financial accounting, auditing, managerial accounting, or business information systems.
