Research Working Papers

The Research Paper Series was established in 1994. The series represents unedited research papers which are works in progress written by staff in the Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems. As unpublished papers, they may not be quoted, reproduced, or distributed without written consent. The research paper series has the following aims:

• to facilitate the dissemination of research undertaken at the University's Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems to as wide an audience as possible;
• to promote discussion among academics, practitioners and regulators about topical issues through the medium of research;
• to provide staff in the Department with an opportunity to gain valuable feedback on work in progress;
• to provide a means through which the department can provide leadership to the broad accounting and business information systems community in the areas of research and public debate.
